Sec 3 Camp was indeed an awesome camp. The Sec 3s enjoyed themselves very much bonding with one another during the activities, and not forgetting to wear their long pants. Well, in my case, I enjoyed myself at the same time learning a few values.
Firstly, Teamwork. It is of course a need of teamwork if not the camp wouldnt have been made successful. Teamwork is very important as in order to achieve the goal you must aim for the target. Yes, of course my class demonstrated lots of teamwork during the activities. One of the activities requires us to build a structure which was a catapult and being able to do that, we need everyones help to hold the wooden logs and tie the logs together using ropes.
Following that, Leadership and Trust. Without a leader, the team would aim for failure. Being able to lead a team makes a lot of differences. I experienced being a leader in one of the activities which is tough though, but with perserverence all things are possible! Though, that is for the team mates to trust him. Knowing regardless of failure or success, the team should be trusting one another no matter what consequence. In one of the activities, we were being blindfolded and we had to hold onto each other shoulders in a straight line and listen to instuctions from the front person. This requires a leader to do that and being able to trust the person in front of you too.
Lastly, Excellence. Of course each team wants to win. In order to win, everybody must do their part in everything they do. Putting in 100 percent in everything you do, regardless of victory and knowing that you tried your best makes you a better person.
To sum things up, Sec 3 Camp was a fun camp as many of us would say, and learnt a lot of values to apply into our daily life.
I would definitely want to go again.Won't you?
