The secondary 3 adventure camp has taught me many important values which can be applied in life. Values like teamwork , awareness and communication are a few examples of these values taught. These values can be applied in many situations and will benefit us greatly.
Aside from being educational, the camp is also fun filled. There were many interesting activities like rafting , water balloon catapult thing and also the mud walk. Personally, my favourite was the rafting activity. The class was split into two groups and each group was required to build a raft which would help us go on a fun ride out in the ocean for a few minutes. If we failed to build a good raft, it would sink and my group would not be able to enjoy the activity which we supposed to. However, thanks to the teamwork and communication between everyone in the group, we were able to build a stable and good raft which did not sink, allowing us to have a fun time splashing each other with sea water.
Even though there were many rumours about the camp and those rumours made me have negative views on the camp, I enjoyed every second I was in the camp and am really thankful to my trainers Jane and Tarzan, who helped made the camp a success to me. I hope that there would be a camp like this again in the future!
